I've seen the thinnest polyester 20d and the thinnest nylon 10D
That is to say, microfiber has the share of polyester, but microfiber is not only polyester.
By the way, the varieties of chemical fiber products are diversified. Of course, the worst ones are electrostatic discoloration, but there are also varieties that are breathable, moisture permeable, anti-static, waterproof and fireproof. As for the color fastness, it is much better than cotton.
